Welcome Home Quilts!

A lot of my business is working with different fabric companies designing quilts using their fabrics.  This means that I'm frequently designing and making the sample quilts many many months in advance of when the fabric arrives in our local quilts shops.

Today I'm excited to welcome home 3 of my quilts that I last saw in January 2019 - which means I actually designed and made them back in 2018!  Wow, that's a long time.   All three of these quilts were designed using Island Batik fabrics.   They were on display at Spring Quilt Market in May 2019 in Kansas City and then spent the past year touring the country, visiting quilt shops and helping sell the fabric collections.

Here is a quick video as I unopen the box

I have patterns available for all three quilts.

Spiked Punch - who doesn't love this quilt just because of it's name :)
The digital download is available in my Etsy shop.

Seaside Runner is a quick and easy runner that is perfect for everyday use.  Make one for every season!  The digital download is available in my Etsy shop.

And finally, the show stopping Pearly Dresden wall hanging.  This one turns heads and will be the envy of your quilting friends.   The digital download is available in my Etsy shop.

And if you prefer a print pattern, just send me a message at masterpiecequilting@gmail.com and I will get one in the mail to you.  They are priced at $11.00 each with free shipping :)

Christmas Sweater Quilt in Annie's Christmas Quilting

Yes, it's only June and I'm already sharing Christmas quilts!  Well, 2020 has been a crazy year so far, so why not!

I'm super excited to share my Christmas Sweater quilt pattern with you.

I just got the quilt back from the publisher so it's fair game for me to share!  As you may not know, I actually designed the quilt many months ago and had to keep it under wraps, sharing only the tiniest of photos while I was making it so as not to give away the design before it's time :)

Christmas Sweater is one of the quilts in Annie's new Christmas Quilting book.  There are so many amazing quilts in this book, you will definitely want to purchase this one.  You can see all the quilts by clicking on this link.

I'm a huge fan of row quilts.  They seem to go together faster than traditional layouts with borders and I'm for any quilt that goes together fast!

This fun pattern with it's bold red poinsettia inspired blocks is perfect for snuggling under while watching movies. While it's a Christmas quilt, this design isn't so "Christmasy" that it has to be put away the day the tree goes out the door.

To make the quilt, I used Soft & Bright batting from The Warm Company and a 45-degree Diamond Ruler from EZ Quilting

I would love to see the version you make!  Be sure to share it with me on my Masterpiece Quilting facebook page or on IG: @masterpiecequilting.
